Product description

TARGA SUPER 05 EC is a herbicide in the form of a concentrate for making a water emulsion, for foliar application, designed to control annual and perennial weeds monocots (after emergence) in agricultural and vegetable crops.

According to the HRAC classification, the active substance quizalofop-P-ethyl was classified as group A.

The agent is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor vehicles field sprayers.

 

Targa Super 05 EC is applied as foliar application after emergence of weeds. Annual weeds are the most sensitive to the action of the agent in the 2-3 leaves phase, and couch grass in the 4-6 leaves phase.

The agent does not control weeds that have emerged after the treatment.

Impact on weeds

TARGA SUPER 05 EC is a selective, systemic, uptake herbicide very quickly through the leaves and then transferred to the roots and weeds, causing inhibition of weed growth and development. The action of the agent on weeds is manifested by yellowing and then drying up of the youngest leaves. The full effect is visible after 2-3 weeks or slightly later in in case of persistent low temperatures. Cool weather and drought delay action measure, but do not reduce its effectiveness.

Product application

Apply the agent at the appropriate stage of weed development, taking into account the recommended phases developmental crops. The dose should be adjusted to the species of weed to be controlled and the crop.
The higher of the recommended doses of the agent should be used when weeds are in the tillering phase.

Application date – phase developmental weed:

Cereal samplings to be fought in spring:
one-sided weed, grain broom, deaf oats, blue trichinosis, foxtail grasshopper, ryegrass.
Recommended dose of the agent: 1,0 – 1,25 l/ha
Application date – phase developmental weed:
2 leaf phase to end of phase tillering (BBCH 12-29)

Perennial monocotyledonous weeds:
couch grass
Recommended dose of the agent: 2,0-2,5 l/ha
Application date – phase developmental weed:
4-6 leaf stage (BBCH 14-16)
